Trofeo Estate has been established at 85 Harrisons Road Dromana on the site of the old Five Sons Estate. The Vineyard is operated on biodynamic principles, the production of wine based on the use of terracotta amphorae with no added chemicals.
Current varietals grown on the property or sourced from other Peninsula vineyards include Chardonnay, Moscato, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon bottled under our two labels 'No.85' & 'Trofeo Estate'.
Apart from the wine and food, Trofeo Estate imports and distributes olive oil from Greece, grown on the family's paternal properties in Samos.
The property encompasses the vineyard, cellar door, winery, cafe and vineyard management.
Whispering Vines Cafe can be found next to the cellar door and has a modern cafe cuisine based on fresh organic/biodynamic produce. The Cafe and Cellar door are managed by Lori Smith and there is a French chef in the Cafe kitchen - sure to tantalise the taste buds.
